The Town of Carthage is experiencing a water main break in the area of Quality Equipment (John Deere) located on Monroe Street.

Construction crews working on the NCDOT road widening project have hit a water main. Maintenance crews are working now to make repairs.

All customers on Saunders Street, Currie Street, Clark Street, Black Street and surrounding areas may expect to have water service disruptions while repairs are made.

Crews expect the repairs to take 4 to 6 hours to complete. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Town Hall at 910-947-2331.

The Town of Carthage would like to notify its customers in the area of Simpson Road, to include Millbrook St, Anderson St, Currie St, Clark St, and Isley St, that construction crews will be working in your area tonight.

Due to the construction, water service in this area will be interrupted from 10:00 pm on tonight, Monday, June 1st, until 5:00 am tomorrow morning, Tuesday, June 2nd.

The Town of Carthage is experiencing a water service outage in the Martin St, Summitt St, and surrounding areas.

Construction crews hit a water main and crews are on site now. They expect to have repairs completed within a couple of hours.
