We are excited to bring The Dinosaur Experience to the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame of Monday, June 1 at 2pm. It's going to be a ROARing good time. This event is free and open to the public as part of the library's summer reading program.

Now you can plan all your trips to the library for the summer! Here's a reminder of how our summer reading program works - Kids who register for summer reading will log their minutes through the Read Squared app in order to win prizes. However, all of our events are free and open to the public - the only exceptions are the skate party and laser tag events. So even if you don't sign up to log your minutes, you can still join us for storytime fun and our great performances that are scheduled throughout the summer. But who doesn't want to win prizes?? Registration is now open and kids will begin logging their minutes on May 27, which is our Kick-Off day. Contact the library if you have any questions at 903-693-6741.

Just a reminder for our brown bag book lunch, next Tuesday May 19th at Noon. As always, we serve drinks and desserts to go with your own lunch. We will review the book Theo of Golden by Allen Levi, and make some connections with others from our community. This event is free and open to the public.

We received some donations of old clothing patterns, and a curated collection of quilt patterns and instructions. These items will be free for the taking and placed near the front desk at the library. There's something for all our crafters!
