❄️ 🥶 Driving is discouraged today❄️🥶
The Street Department has designated a network of roads within the city as a snow route system. The only deviation from the designated route is by the request of Public Safety to assist in providing emergency access or support.

Priority 1️⃣- Principal and Minor Arterial Roadways and Collector Streets including the Square Business District; bridges, overpasses and viaducts.
Priority 2️⃣- 'Hot spots' (steep hills and dangerous intersections) Schools (other than those on the snow route) and Remaining Principal and Minor Arterial Roadways and Collector Streets.
Priority 3️⃣- Low-traffic residential areas. (Alleys will not be plowed)

TRASH PICKUP UPDATE: Republic Services has notified us that due to the continued inclement weather they will not be running the Friday routes tomorrow (Saturday). They will resume normal routes on Monday. They will take all extra trash next week (Friday, the 17th) on the regularly scheduled service day. Thank you.

TRASH SERVICE: Due to current weather conditions, trash service will not be running today, January 10. As of now, weather permitting, trash service will run on a one day delay, meaning today’s routes will be serviced tomorrow, January 11. Please plan accordingly. Thank you.
