Four Moore County 4-H members recently competed at the South Central District Activity Day held on Wednesday, June 17th, hosted by Stanly County 4-H🍀
🥇Competing for the first time was Ryland Callicutt. Ryland’s presentation, entitled “Managing the Herd- Proper Dairy Maintenance,” received Gold in the Livestock and Dairy Production category, advancing him to the state competition.🐄
🥇Jordyn Rachels gave a presentation entitled “Honey Bees” in the Entomology category. Jordyn placed Gold and will advance to the state competition.🐝🍯
Two of our returning 4-Hers, Vincent Ballou and Jaxen Ballou, are seasoned presenters!
🏅Vincent gave a presentation in the Digital Media category, entitled “How Virtual Reality (VR) Can Assist Us in the World Today”. 📱
🏅Jaxen presented in the Cloverbud non-competitive category for youth ages 5-7, presenting “The Lifecycle of a Chicken at My House”.🐥
Each of these 4-H members did an outstanding job representing Moore County's future leaders with enthusiasm, dedication, and integrity.
📍NC State 4-H Presentations will be held at Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC, on Tuesday, July 21st.
