🚀🧪 Calling all future innovators, builders, coders, and problem-solvers!

STEM Quest: Operation Innovation is bringing a full week of hands-on learning, creativity, and discovery to Carthage ISD this summer through the SCI STEM Career Immersion Camp! 💡🔬⚙️

Students in Grades 3–5 will have the opportunity to:
• Build and test engineering challenges
• Explore coding and simple AI with Micro:bit
• Experiment with water, magnets, and bubbles
• Create chain-reaction machines
• Discover ecosystems and invasive species
• Design fiber-optic constellations

🎭🎶 Our 3rd Annual Talent Show was so much fun!

We loved seeing our students shine through singing, dancing, magic tricks, athletic talents, and everything in between. These 2nd and 3rd graders have TALENT! 🌟👏

A special shoutout to the backstage crew for all their help behind the scenes — they helped keep the whole show running smoothly! 🙌

And we can’t forget the surprise dance by the 2nd grade teachers… definitely one of the FUNNEST parts of the show! 💃😂

Huge thanks to Mrs. Gomez for all the work she put into making this event such a success! ❤️

🏆💥 Our 3rd graders brought the energy to the Dodgeball Tournament! The competition was intense, the games were exciting, and students had a blast cheering on their classmates.

The Carthage ISD Board of Trustees approved an updated school calendar during their May 18, 2026 meeting. Please note this calendar includes changes from the version that was previously released earlier this year.

Families, students, and staff are encouraged to review the updated calendar carefully and make note of any changes to important dates throughout the school year.

Please use the calendar shared in this post as the official 2026–2027 Carthage ISD school calendar moving forward. The updated calendar is also available on the district homepage at carthageisd.org by clicking on the yellow tab labeled 2026-27 Calendar.
