Thank you to everyone who stopped by at Old Home Day to ask questions and learn more about the proposed North Carver project. It was great to see so many residents taking the time to get informed and engaged.

A special thank you to our Town Planner, Sean Lewis, for doing an excellent job explaining the differences between the two proposals—Chapter 40R and Chapter 40B. Thanks also to Planning Board Chair Alan Germain and Vice Chair Mari Ellen Williams for volunteering their time to help answer questions throughout the day.

There will be several public hearings scheduled in the coming months. I encourage everyone to attend, ask questions, and share any concerns. The Planning Board will post hearing dates here and on the Town website as they become available.

The Carver Planning Department will host an informational display booth at Old Home Day to present the proposed 40R Smart Growth District in North Carver and discuss the alternative 40B development in North Carver.

The Planning Board is committed to transparency and public engagement. Our Town Planner and Planning Board members will be available throughout the event to answer questions, explain the proposal, and provide information about what it could mean for the community.

We encourage all residents to stop by, learn more, ask questions, and participate in the conversation.

A couple of quick updates from Tuesday 06-23-26 meeting:

The Board approved two solar projects.
Three ANR (Approval Not Required) plans were approved.
The Board also discussed the potential 40R district and the Roby property development.

In addition, a new Town of Carver website is currently under development. The new site will make it much easier for residents to find information and will be used to provide links to materials and details on projects that are before the Board for review.
