Due to the forecasted inclement weather, the Carver Memorial Day Parade scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled.

While we are disappointed we cannot gather as a community, we remain deeply grateful for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

Please take a moment tomorrow to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Stay safe,
The Carver Fire Department

New firefighter spotlight! We are introducing The Class of 2026 one member at a time. Say hello to FF Richard Farrar. He is assigned to Company 2 in North Carver. Rich was quickly given the name "Pops" by his classmates - sorry bud, we don't get to pick our firehouse names! Rich actually applied to CFD several years ago but unfortunately, we aren't always able to hire each applicant in a given year. Unhindered, he applied again in 2025, showing the grit and determination we always look for in a firefighter, and he's been a great addition to the team.
As stated in our last spotlight, Rich represents a first at CFD - he was hired and went through recruit school with his son, Kobe Farrar! Father/son combos are not unusual in the fire service because what we do runs in our blood, but this is the first time we've had them both in the same class.
Welcome FF Rich Farrar!

New firefighter spotlight! We are introducing The Class of 2026 one member at a time. Say hello to FF Kobe Farrar. He is assigned to Company 2 in North Carver. Kobe is not a stranger and has been visible around the fire station before. As a High School/Summer Intern with Carver DPW, the several CFD members that are also DPW employees would leave him at the station while they responded to fire calls. Looks like we rubbed off on him, and we are glad he decided to join.
Kobe represents a first at CFD - he was hired and went through recruit school with his father, Richard Farrar! Rich "Pops" Farrar will be our next feature.

Welcome FF Kobe Farrar!
