A big SHOUT OUT to Rob and Dan from the Store Management Team at our local Lowe’s Apex for donating a Microwave to Mills Park Middle School (MPMS) PTSA to help our public school. Thank you for this kind gesture and generosity!!! 💜💛

Our staff lounge microwave at MPMS recently broke down. This made it tough for our teachers and staff using the lunch room daily. The administration was so thrilled and thankful to Lowe’s when we took it to school today. This donation will go a long way for the staff & teachers at our school for years to come. 🥰

During pick up, every Lowe’s Apex staff that we interacted with from Kent at the Appliance Center to the check out folks were super helpful too. We even met an employee who graduated from MPMS and currently goes to Wake Tech!!

Would appreciate our community supporting our local Lowe’s Apex to show our appreciation and ongoing partnership with them. Wish our Leopard families a great summer break. Go Leopards!! 🐾

Congratulations to Dr. Raiford on her new role as Principal at Panther Creek HS!! It is indeed bittersweet. We are very happy, and at the same time, it is very hard to see her leave us. Her leadership has helped our students, teachers/staff, PTSA volunteers, parents and overall community thrive and excel. We are so thankful for the amazing passion and energy she has brought to our community year after year, tirelessly. Our Leopard families will truly miss her. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

Given this sudden transition, our Area Superintendent, Mr Williams and his office made a decision to provide our parents with the New Principal Input Session post our last GMM yesterday/Jun 9th at MPMS Media Center before school closes as shared last weekend in our Principal Newsletter.

We are truly grateful to Mr Williams and his office for visiting our school last evening to share information about the process and give our parents the opportunity to provide input for our MPMS New Principal. Thanks to all parents who attended.

The office would like to extend an opportunity to all MPMS parents to share their input online if they were not able to attend yesterday.

On 06/15/2026 01:00 PM ET, every gift recipient (teachers & staff) will receive an email with personal greetings from all the contributors. Each teacher & staff member will then be able to use their gift amount to select gift cards from hundreds of brands, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Sephora, Nike, Visa and many other fashion, travel, electronics, furniture, and DIY stores as well as restaurants and entertainment chains.
