NC Council of Community Programs It is governed by a 20 member Board of Directors consisting of an equal number of citizen area board members and professional area administrators.

The NC Council of Community Programs is a nonprofit association that represents local community mental health/developmental disability/substance abuse programs throughout North Carolina. The North Carolina Council of Community MH/DD/SA Programs was incorporated in 1983 as a nonprofit association dedicated to helping its member Area Authorities/Local Management Entities improve their service qualit

y and management effectiveness. The Council provides its member programs with a strong, cohesive, statewide voice through policy analysis, technical assistance, publications, and educational programs.

Hi everyone, you may not be aware, but this page is no longer active. The NC Council is now with i2i Center for Integrative Health www.i2icenter.org . Happy New Year everyone…hopefully many of you saw our Executive Director Mary Hooper’s important announcement at our conference on December 6th in Pinehurst. As of January 1, the NC Council of Community Programs has become a new organization: Insight to Innovation (i2i) Center for Integrative Health. i2i has been established to engage the broad stakeholder community in collaboration, policy development, education and best practice research in issues facing individuals receiving MH/IDD/SUD service delivery with emphasis on the publicly-funded system.
