A lot has changed in the 66 years since Swift Creek Fire Dept began. There's about a million more people in the county! The trucks are bigger, as are the homes. What hasn't changed is a dedicated group here to serve the citizens. Every day, ready to respond.

Last night we had the opportunity to go to the Wake County Fire training center. This facility and our time there is critical for firefighters to get live fire experience. 🔥 🔥 Being able to train under adverse conditions, cause thats exactly what a burn building is on a 95 degree evening, allows us to be better prepared for emergencies whenever they happen. Thanks to everyone who came out for a hot evening of making yourselves better.

Last week Cary Fire Department came and reviewed their Moderate Risk Structure Fire guide. It was great to host them. They came and talked with all 3 shifts plus our volunteer staff.

We respond with Cary FD to these residential fires and understand their guide helps all crews work seamlessly and more efficiently.
