Cool off with the Cary Area Public Library at Kaper Park for a splash pad Storytime featuring stories, rhymes, music and movement, followed by the splash pad opening at 10am!

These storytimes will be geared towards preschool-aged children, but the whole family is welcome!

New! We now have game controllers for Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation 5 for checkout to CAPL cardholders as part of our Library of Things collection: caryarealibrary.org/libraryofthings

Note: The Xbox and PlayStation controllers can be borrowed by CAPL cardholders ages 18+; the Switch controller can be borrowed by CAPL cardholders of any age. They checkout for one week, with no renewals.

Max becomes a successful entertainment producer in New York City. Deirdre teaches behaviorally challenged children in a rural Illinois town. She begins to reimagine her struggles through the students she teaches. Her inspiration grows when she connects with Spencer Graham, a troubled new student at her school. Spencer's mother is the famous writer, Eleanor Graham. Eleanor agrees to work with Deirdre if Deirdre watches out for her son. As irascible and difficult as Eleanor is, Deirdre finds herself coming into her own, finally, as a writer. But just as writing success seems imminent, a visit from Max upends everything Deirdre has built."
