On Friday, August 7th, the staff here at CAPL got together to sort and package the school supplies from the drive we hosted in July. We’re still smiling over what YOU made possible. 💙

In the end, we collected over 75 bags worth of school supplies to help local students start the school year ready to learn. As we were packaging the supplies, we were reminded of how much these supplies will mean to these students as they embark on their school year.

A very special shout-out to one particular patron, who went above and beyond by organizing a school supply drive for her daughter’s first birthday and bringing in an INCREDIBLE donation to our drive. What a wonderful way to celebrate! 🎉✏️

We’re also so grateful to have partnered with Kids In Need McHenry County, an organization working to make sure foster families in our community have the resources they need for their children to thrive. We loved getting to support their work and help prepare these supplies for students.
