NC Capital Area MPO CAMPO provides transportation planning services to the greater Raleigh area.

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is the regional organization charged with providing transportation planning for the greater Raleigh area including Wake County and portions of Granville, Franklin, Johnston, and Harnett counties. The MPO is governed by an Executive Board comprised of elected and appointed officials from all member governments.

TOMORROW! May 19th from 4-7PM at the Creedmoor Community Center. Join fellow community members at the Study’s Open House to review the draft recommendations for future growth and development AND transportation improvements in the area.
The Study includes southern Granville County, along with adjacent portions of Wake and Franklin Counties, including Oxford, Stem, Butner, and Creedmoor.

The 14-day public comment period for the Recommended FY 2027 Wake Transit Work Plan is now open, running from May 6 through May 20, 2026.
The Work Plan outlines $170.7 million in proposed transit investments across Wake County for the upcoming year, spanning July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, supporting expanded bus service, new transit infrastructure, vehicle purchases, and Wake County’s rail future.
