NC Capital Area MPO CAMPO provides transportation planning services to the greater Raleigh area.

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is the regional organization charged with providing transportation planning for the greater Raleigh area including Wake County and portions of Granville, Franklin, Johnston, and Harnett counties. The MPO is governed by an Executive Board comprised of elected and appointed officials from all member governments.

CAMPO, in partnership with Town of Apex Government, is studying the feasibility of a new entry/exit point to improve access to the park. This study was identified as a need in the Western Big Branch Area Plan.
