Cascade Locks Fire and EMS

All month of June we are running a special pizza to benefit the Cascade Locks Fire and EMS. $5 from every "Fire Pizza" sold in June will be donated to the Fire Department.

A 16in pizza made with cup and char pepperoni, Mike's hot honey, and our famous garlic crust. Its delicious and gives back to our local heroes.

You can also upgrade to the "Chief" (add pineapple) or the '3 alarm' (add Mama's Lil Peppers) for added flavor.

Effective today, May 15, 2026 Hood River County has entered into a Burn band

Reminder the county wide burn ban starts tomorrow.

Following a dry winter and spring, our annual burn ban will take effect on May 15th this year, providing an additional week for cleanup activities. Current burn hours are from 6am to 11am.

Beginning May 1st, 2026, our burn hours will be from 6am to 11am with a valid permit.

There will be a power outage on Ruckle, Belle, Edgewood, Dry Creek and Bailey Gatzert. Repairs to powerlines are required. The expected downtime is approximately two hours, from shortly after 1 PM until around 3 PM.

Public works is burning the city burn pile today on Herman Creek Lane. It will be attended.

We are currently responding to a structure fire in the 300 block of Forest Lane. Forest Lane is closed at this time. Please avoid the area to allow emergency vehicles to access the scene.
