D Shift responded to a vegetation/woods fire that was approximately 12x40, crews quickly extinguished the fire before it was able to reach a "bunk house" on the property. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maine Forest Rangers.

Engine 63 and Tank 66, staffed by today's crew, responded in conjunction with the Naples and Bridgton Fire Departments to a reported smell of propane at Songo Locks School in Naples. Upon arrival, crews conducted a thorough search of the building, utilizing gas meters to detect any potential leaks, while school facilities representatives assisted on scene.
