If you would like a ticket send a message to the page or contact your local police officer. You can show up the day of without a ticket and purchase your meal. All funds that are raised goes to helping kids throughout Clark County at Christmas.

UPDATE: Interstate is back open. Right lane will be closed for an additional 1-2 hours for cleanup.
Troopers are on scene of a multi-unit crash on Interstate 70 eastbound at milepost 125 between Greenup and Casey.

Traffic is being diverted off at the Greenup Exit. The interstate is expected to be closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup.

Illinois strengthened the Move Over Law, also known as Scott’s Law, today with the signing of SB 3164 to better protect the first responders who put their lives on the line every day.

Under SB 3164, drivers who violate the Move Over Law and cause serious injury or death will now face driver’s license revocation instead of suspension. The law holds the most serious offenders accountable and makes it more difficult for them to regain driving privileges.

“ISP Troopers have suffered the heartache of seeing a fellow officer either injured or killed because a driver failed to move over, only to see that same driver back on the road,” said Illinois State Police Director Brendan F. Kelly. “License revocation cannot take away the pain caused to officers, family, and friends, but it can help reduce the likelihood the same driver will cause similar harm and pain to anyone else.”

The need for stronger protections is clear:
🚔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 9 Move Over Law-related crashes involving ISP, injuring 2 Troopers.
🚔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: 15 Move Over Law-related crashes, injuring 7 Troopers.
🚔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: 27 Move Over Law-related crashes, injuring 12 Troopers and claiming the life of Trooper Clay Carns.

Reminder: Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, and all other wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the basketball court or pickleball courts.

🇺🇸 With the upcoming holiday weekend, we wanted to remind everyone of the City of Casey Golf Cart Regulations.

Whether you're heading to a parade, visiting friends, or just enjoying the weekend, please take a few minutes to review the rules and help keep our streets safe for everyone.

A few important reminders:
• Drivers must be 18 years of age or older.
• Children must be properly secured in an appropriate child restraint.
• Golf carts may cross Route 49, but may not travel on/or cross Route 40.
• If your golf cart does not have a current blue registration sticker, stop by the Casey Police Department during normal business hours to register.

📍 Registration is $50.00.
