***UPDATE-All water has been restored except approximately 10 or so homes
on Old Bunkum Road in Fairview Heights.
Water crews will be working through the day***

🚨 🚨 We are aware of a water main break near 89th Street and Bunkum Road. This break will affect a large number of water customers in Caseyville and Fairview Heights, primarily those located above the bluff, including areas along Hill Road, Hollywood Heights, Bunkum Road, and surrounding areas.

Village workers are currently on-site and working to make the necessary repairs. We appreciate your patience and understanding as crews work to restore service.

Boil orders will be issued. Please stand by for additional updates from the Village regarding the boil order and repair progress. 🚨 🚨

Yesterday’s Cones with a Cop event was a HUGE success! 🍦🚔

A heartfelt thank-you to Dairy Haven for their continuous and overwhelming support of our community. Dairy Haven donated ALL sales from the event — not a percentage, not proceeds after paying their employees, but ALL proceeds. That generosity means more than we can put into words.

And, of course, a HUGE thank-you to our incredible community! Without your support, this event would not be the annual success that it has become.

Believe us when we tell you: it is worth every single smile at the end of the year when children get to pick out their Christmas presents. 🎄🎁

We are so grateful to everyone who came out, supported the event, and helped make a difference. Shout out to The Kantina for DJ’ing the event. The final Cones with a Cop event will be posted in just a few days, so stay tuned!

🎆 The Village of Caseyville Fireworks Display is STILL ON for Tonight! 🎆

Good news! The Village of Caseyville's Annual Fireworks Display is still scheduled for tonight and will begin shortly after dusk at Caseyville Village Park.

🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORY – CASEYVILLE FIREWORKS 🚨

The Caseyville Police Department will be directing traffic following tonight's fireworks display. Our primary goal is to safely and efficiently get everyone out of the park as quickly as possible.

Please plan ahead and park with your exit in mind, as there will be ONLY TWO designated exit routes from the park.

Please be aware:

•Side streets will be closed to exiting traffic.

•Through traffic on IL Route 157 will be temporarily stopped to allow vehicles to safely exit the park.

•West Harbor Street and West Reynolds Street are the only two exit roads to Illinois Route 157.

•If you exit via West Harbor Street, you will be required to travel NORTH on Route 157. There will be no option to head South on RT 157. Hollywood Heights Road eastbound will remain open.

•If you exit via West Reynolds Street, you will be required to travel SOUTH on Route 157. There will be no option to head North on RT 157. East O’Fallon Road eastbound will remain open.

****Again, Illinois Route 157 will be temporarily shut down following the fireworks display until the park has been safely cleared of traffic. RT 157 at Caseyville Road will be shut down Southbound. RT 157 at East O’Fallon will be shutdown Northbound. If you are not attending the fireworks and are simply traveling through the area, please plan to use alternate routes during this time to avoid significant traffic delays.

Please follow all directions from officers and traffic control personnel.

Your patience and cooperation will help ensure everyone gets home safely. Thank you, and enjoy the fireworks! 🎆
