Some of our fun summer craft times included our upcycle flower basket - where kids learned how to make a basket out of a paper grocery bag. They worked on designing their own paper flowers with color combinations.
Seed Art design was also rewarding- learning what the legumes/ seeds were and making designs from different seeds, combining the colors and sizes.
Making a Floral Pen - learning how to use floral tape to create a unique keepsake pen.
NCW libraries and our community members have made this summer very rewarding!

Here are some pictures from our Kids Vegetable garden craft. The kids learned why they are called "root" vegetables, what kinds of "root vegetables" there are, and that they are eating the root that grows in the ground. Kids enjoyed learning how to weave the yarn. (a new skill for most)They all preferred eating carrots.
