GREAT NEWS! the council voted not to move forward with a proposal to weaken Casper's smokefree law! Be sure to thank Mayor Kenyne Humphrey, Vice Mayor Ray Pacheco, Charlie Powell, Bob Hopkins and Amanda Huckabay for their support of a strong smokefree law!

A divided Casper City Council declined to revisit the smoking ban approved by voters two years ago Tuesday evening.

New City Council members are at it again. We, as voters decided we wanted a strong smokefree law in Casper and now the members of the council are considering weakening it.

Send an email to [email protected] and it will go to all council members.

Let them know:
The citizens of Casper voted on this issue and their votes should count.
The special election cost the city over $20,000 and there will
likely be another special election, if they try to weaken the law.
Everyone deserves the right to breathe clean air!

Help us spread the word. The more emails sent, the less likely they are to mess with this great smokefree ordinance.
