In case you missed our post this summer, we wanted to re-share this celebration of NCSD's Western Winds Marching Band. ☀️🥁🎺🎷

Student musicians had a fantastic time this summer showcasing their extraordinary musical talents, dedication, and showmanship with NCSD’s Western Winds Marching Band! Students worked hard throughout the summer to refine every aspect of their performances. From rehearsing challenging musical selections and mastering cadence to perfecting marching techniques and maintaining precise formations, these talented performers demonstrated exceptional commitment and teamwork.

Their hours of practice and preparation culminated in exciting performances at community parades, showcasing their energy, precision, and musical excellence. Outstanding work to the students, staff, and all others who make NCSD’s Western Winds Marching Band a can’t-miss performance each year!

NCSD Transportation is gearing up for a GREAT school year!

🌟 It was a beautiful morning today at the NCSD Bus Hub as students, staff, and school families prepared for a great school year! A big thank you to our first-time elementary bus riders and families who joined us today to practice their routes and get familiar with the NCSD Bus Hub.

🚧 Families may notice some planned construction occurring at the Bus Hub. This work will not impact bus operations, and our NCSD Transportation team is dedicated to ensuring a safe and positive environment for all students!

If your student has any questions or needs assistance, many exceptional NCSD team members will be on hand at the Bus Hub to help - just look for the bright vests and even brighter smiles! 😀

🚌 Still need to register your student for the bus? Bus Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is OPEN! Families who need bus transportation are encouraged to register as soon as possible so our team can help with bus route and bus stop information.

We are excited to see our students on Monday, August 31st, and we look forward to an exceptional 2026-2027 school year!

We are excited for another terrific school year! As we work to ensure all students are ready for the upcoming school year, we ask that families go online before the first day of school or the beginning of fall athletic/activity practices to complete the Parental Acknowledgement Forms via their Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
