What a fun and memorable final week at Dean! Members had an absolute blast enjoying so many activities to wrap up an amazing school year. From exciting basketball games and more rounds of Poison, to making pancakes, creating slime, playing Bingo with tons of prizes, and auctioning off our Club Store items, there was never a dull moment throughout the week. Members were full of energy, laughter, and smiles as they spent time with their friends and staff making the most of the final days together.

To celebrate our final day, members enjoyed Root Beer Floats, pizza, and a movie day featuring WALL-E. WALL-E connected perfectly with BGCCW values and Mind-Up lessons by showing kindness, teamwork, perseverance, caring for others, and the importance of taking care of our world. The movie also reminded members how small positive actions can make a big difference and how meaningful friendships and empathy can help others grow.

So many unforgettable memories were made not only during this final week, but throughout the entire school year. We are so thankful for all the positive feedback and support from our members and families. Our members truly made Dean a welcoming, fun, and special place every single day. Thank you for an incredible year filled with laughter, growth, learning, and unforgettable moments. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and amazing summer, and we cannot wait to see everyone again soon!

Celebrating our members’ birthdays from April through July was such a fun time! Members enjoyed delicious cupcakes, and to make the celebration even sweeter, we ended with an exciting cake walk. What a great way to celebrate our amazing members together!

Pickleball has swept the nation, and now it is sweeping through our Dean Morgan Club! Members have been doing an amazing job showing off their skills, improving their teamwork, and having a blast on the court. It has quickly become one of the favorite activities at the Club!

🌟 Our final Youth of the Month All-Star for the school year is Brook M.! 🌟

Brook has been an incredible asset to the Dean Club since the beginning of the year. Her growth, leadership, and positive relationships with both staff and members have truly stood out. She consistently participates in programming, encourages other members to get involved, and has shown remarkable improvement in her Spanish skills. Brook has also completed all of her Power Hour and Spanish activities, showing dedication and responsibility every day. We are so proud of all her hard work and accomplishments this year!

These members stand out as role models by helping others, participating actively, and representing what it means to be a true Club member. Derrek represented the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming with confidence and heart at the Southwest Youth of the Year Celebration in Dallas!

As part of the competition, Derrek delivered his speech in front of seven judges and completed an interview where he shared his Club experience, his story, and the impact the Club has had on his life.

We are so proud of Derrek and all he has accomplished. He then attended the evening celebration, where he was recognized alongside other outstanding Youth of the Year candidates from across the Southwest region!

We are so proud of Wyoming State Youth of the Year, Derrek, as he represents our state at the Southwest Youth of the Year Competition in Dallas, Texas!

Derrek is doing an incredible job connecting and networking with his fellow Southwest Youth of the Year participants. During the trip, he has had the opportunity to visit the Sixth Floor Museum to learn more about President John F. Kennedy’s legacy, enjoy lunch and networking at AT&T Headquarters, take part in a fireside chat with officers, and tour the facility.

What an amazing experience for Derrek and a wonderful opportunity to grow, learn, and represent Wyoming with pride!
