The Library is devastated to learn of the passing of Dolly Parton, not only a talented musician, but also a true titan of children's literacy. Her Imagination Library has received multiple Library of Congress Literacy Awards and, in 2018, Dolly visited us to donate the program’s 100 millionth book to our collection. She even hosted story time. 🦋❤️

Tonight’s Cookbook Club focused on Native American recipes from Seed to Plate; Soil to Sky. Tied for 1st were favorites Pumpkin and Ginger Scones & Spaghetti Squash Slaw; tied for 2nd were favorites Navajo Minestrone Soup & Baked Berry Vanilla Crisp; and in 3rd place was Tomato Quinoa Salad.
Next month we’ll be trying tailgating recipes from a sports cookbook, Kickoff Kitchen. Stop in and sign up before September 14!
