🎉💙 Today we’re celebrating Mrs. Koumas on Her Retirement! 💙🎉

After an incredible 30 years at Midway Elementary, we are celebrating the retirement of a truly special member of our Bobcat family—Mrs. Koumas!

Throughout the years, Mrs. Koumas has worn many hats, serving as both a 4K and Kindergarten Assistant while helping keep countless things running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it was organizing, lending a helping hand wherever needed, or brightening our day with her sense of humor, she was always someone we could count on.

Mrs. Koumas has touched the lives of so many students with her kindness, patience, and love. She has a special way of making children feel seen, supported, and cared for, and her impact will be felt for years to come.

Please join us in thanking Mrs. Koumas for 30 years of service and wishing her a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and all the adventures she deserves! 💙🐾

Today we celebrate one of Midway’s very own, Mrs. Mary Williams! ❤️🐾

Over the years, Mrs. Williams has worn many hats at Midway — from bus driver, to computer lab, to classroom assistant — and through every role, she has loved and supported our Bobcats in countless ways.

While we’re officially celebrating her retirement, we’re also excited because this isn’t really goodbye! 🎉 Mrs. Williams will be returning after summer break as a working retiree, and we couldn’t be happier about that!

For now, we hope she enjoys every minute of a well-deserved summer filled with rest, fun, and celebration. Thank you, Mrs. Williams, for the many years of dedication, love, and service to Midway Elementary.

Summer Reading Starts Today!
All ages are invited to read to win. Kids in grades 4K to 5th grade will read 10 to win. Grades 6th grade to 8th will strive for 5. Teens read 3 and adults will also read 3 to win. Kids win a free book to keep, teens win a ticket to the Camden Little Theater, and adults win a Summer Scribes tote bag. We are so proud of each student for their dedication, kindness, perseverance, and all they’ve accomplished this school year. Watching our Bobcats lead, learn, and grow in all that they do has been such a joy!

🎓✨ Our 5K graduates are ready to shine! ✨🎓

Today we celebrated our sweet 5K students and all they have learned, grown, and accomplished this year! From learning letters and numbers to making new friends and building confidence, these little graduates have come so far. 💙💛

We are so proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they will do in first grade!

🎓✨ Congratulations to our amazing 5th graders! ✨🎓

Today we celebrated this special milestone with a wonderful 5th grade graduation ceremony . Yesterday, they enjoyed a special meal together and sweet cupcakes to honor all of their hard work and accomplishments! 🧁💙

We are so proud of the growth, leadership, and memories these students have made during their elementary years. Middle school is lucky to have this incredible group of students heading their way!
