Electric bikes, scooters, Segways, and hoverboards are now more common on our roadways, sidewalks, and trails, but do you know the rules?

Before you ride, take a moment to know what you're riding and where you can legally ride it. Remember to travel at a safe speed, yield to pedestrians, stay visible, and follow the rules of the road.

And while helmets may not always be required, they are always a smart choice!

Take a look at the guide below to learn the differences and help keep yourself and others safe. 🙂

With school officially back in session, let's work together to keep our school zones safe!

Slow down, stay alert, and put your phones down. Our kids are counting on getting to school and returning home to their families.

Please drive responsibly. 💙

CPD Officers recently had the opportunity to meet Dino at the Seminole County Public Library in Casselberry.

Officers responded to a noise complaint involving reports of a dinosaur roaring loudly in the lobby. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the prehistoric suspect.

Unfortunately, the encounter took an unexpected turn when one of our officers was captured by the culprit!

We’re happy to report that no officers or dinosaurs were harmed during the encounter!
