South Seminole Academy of Leadership, Law & Advanced Studies magnet school. The focus of the magnet program is designed to spark the student’s initiative and leadership potential in a global society. The curriculum develops the skills students need to become productive and responsible leaders of the future. Students have the opportunity to explore the language and culture of societies that impact

our daily lives. Current technology is utilized to connect with other schools throughout the world to investigate global issues. South Seminole Academy also offers preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program at Seminole High School or Winter Springs High School (eligibility determined by school zone). The Seminole County Public Schools Pre-IB Preparatory Program offers an extensive course of study in math, science, foreign language, social studies and language arts--with an emphasis on independent study, in-depth learning and accelerated curriculum requirements. Students are not permitted to use personal devices per Florida House Bill 1105. HOWEVER, students are permitted to use their SSA issued iPads during the day for instructional purposes. Haven't received your iPad yet? Check the SSA website for the 2 steps needed. Students who have completed these steps should receive their iPad by the end of this week!
