The Cass County Sheriff's Office will be performing a major search exercise, to include a missing adult and child. If you or your group/organization is interested in participating, please contact Patti Kolden at (269) 445-1217 or [email protected] for more details. Volunteers need to be 16 years or older, with ages 16 and 17 needing parental consent.

This week we had our first official Advanced CERT Class @ Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. and it was a huge success! Training consisted of CERT Updates, Arcs and Sparks, Weather Spotting/Sky Warn, Flood Safety, Liability, Traffic Control, Emergency Management Overview, Best Practice Sharing, Instructional Techniques and Team Building/Sustainment. Look for future training opportunities coming your way!
