Anyone remember their mom saying, you can never be too safe?

MCS has safe schools, and we are making them even safer. This year, from state safety grants, we are proud to have Jason Higley from Cass Co Sheriff as our School Resource Officer. If you think SRO Higley is a familiar face, that is because he is, patrolman assigned to Marcellus. Cass Co Sheriff will still be sending a patrolman to our village, but Officer Higley can also jump into action if needed!

Also, we have installed classroom door locks, Nightlocks, that make the doors darn near impenetrable. It's sad we have to think this way, but we are glad to make this investment for enhanced safety of our kids.
