We haven't heard much about it, but Missourians will be voting for state auditor next month. An article just posted on The Turner Report examines the race and the positions taken by incumbent Republican Scott Fitzpatrick and the challenger Democrat Quentin Wilson. The link is in the comments.

An outside group mistakenly spent nearly $25,000 to boost Collins in Portland, Oregon, rather than Portland, Maine. The buyer admitted to the error and refunded the PAC.

Amendment 7 Creates a Politicians’ Slush Fund

Sound familiar? This is just a redo of Amendment 5 from our August Primary ballot, the one Missouri voters overwhelmingly defeated! Apparently, politicians didn't like our answer the first time!

- Takes Taxpayer Money: Diverts state funds to create a special fund controlled by politicians.
- Funds Risky Investments: Uses taxpayer money to make risky investments in the stock market.
- No Guarantee: There is no guarantee it will make money, and our tax dollars are at risk.
- Gives Politicians More Control: Creates a new fund outside the normal budget process, with fewer accountability safeguards.
- Could Lead to Cuts: If investments don't perform, essential services like education, healthcare, and public safety could be at risk.

VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 7!

We told them NO in August. Let's tell them NO again on November 3rd!
