We knew the day we hired her that she wouldn’t be with us long-but we also knew she was the perfect fit for our team! Our amazing Probate Clerk, Riley, is off to law school next month, and today is her last day with us. We couldn’t let her go without a proper send off!
Riley, we appreciate everything you’ve done for us. Your hard work, positivity, and dedication will be missed more than you know. We’re so proud of you and excited to see what’s next. We have no doubt we’ll be seeing you again-next time in the courtroom!

The Barry County Circuit Clerk’s Office is now accepting applications for the position of Court Clerk. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat & positive attitude. Candidates should be able to perform a variety of legal & confidential duties. This includes data entry & providing polite, professional customer service via phone, email & face-face interaction. Work is performed under the direction of the Circuit Clerk. HS diploma and two years of general clerical experience preferred. This is a State Employee position with full benefits: health, dental & vision insurance; paid holidays, paid vacation & paid sick leave. Starting pay is $35,429.00/year.
