Cassville R-IV Families,

We regret to announce that tonight's Cassville High School Homecoming football game will not take place as scheduled.

Just before 3 p.m. this afternoon, Friday, October 9, we were notified that our scheduled opponent, Miller Career Academy, would not be traveling to Cassville for tonight's game, resulting in a forfeit.

While we are disappointed by this unexpected, last-minute change, we want to celebrate our students this evening.

We will have a Homecoming Celebration this evening at Wildcat Stadium for our students.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., we will have our Homecoming Coronation, a performance by the Wildcat Band and CHS Cheerleaders and a limited concession stand for families and fans to enjoy. We estimate the event will conclude at approximately 7:15 p.m.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage our community to come together tonight, fill the stands and support our students!

The game may not be happening, but our wildcat spirit isn't going anywhere!
