BOIL ORDER: The Southwest Rural Water Supply District has issued a boil water order notice for all customers east of Highway 37 South of Cassville and Washburn and southwest of Washburn including, but not limited to, Farm Roads 2265, 1050 and 1055. Customers are urged to boil water used for drinking, cooking, and making ice for 5 minutes. The boil order is a result of loss of sufficient line pressure due to a break and subsequent repair of a water main. This boil order is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and health of customers of Southwest Rural Water District.

Certified technicians are available to inspect your car seat free of charge and show you how to correctly install and use it. With just your zip code, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website, https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle-safety/car-seats-and-booster-seats -help-inspection, will provide a list of car seat inspection stations near you.

More than half of all car seats are installed incorrectly. Come by the Lawrence County Health Department Friday, May 15th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and have a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician check your seat(s) to be sure your child is riding safe! It's FREE!
