In observance of Juneteenth, Cordelia A. Greene Library will be closed on Thursday, June 19th.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a time to honor freedom, resilience, and the enduring contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation's history.

As we reflect on this important day, we encourage our community to learn, celebrate, and continue conversations that foster understanding and inclusion.

We're excited to announce that the library now offers a pass to Genesee Country Village & Museum!

Due to popular demand, we're extending our Annual Book Sale through the entire month of June!

We've had so many visitors asking for more time to browse that we decided to keep the sale going a little longer. Stop in and explore hundreds of books, DVDs, audiobooks, CDs, and more—all available for a donation of your choice.

💚 All proceeds benefit the library and help support programs, services, and resources for our community.

We are so excited to have RMSC Delivers come out and share their Disosaurs Program with us!
This very interactive program expands the students’ imagination as they learn about and “create” a fossil. Students become “paleontologists” in a mock “dig,” and then role-play as dinosaurs to explore how they move, eat, and defend themselves.
This event is completely free, but registration is required!

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Cordelia A. Greene Library is thrilled to receive a $25,000 grant from the WNY Rural Library Grant Program for our project, Building Pathways: Workforce Development and Community Connection.

This funding will help us create new opportunities for learning, workforce development, and community engagement while strengthening connections throughout our region.

We are incredibly grateful for this investment in our library and our community. Thank you to the WNY Rural Library Grant Program for supporting the important role rural libraries play in enriching lives and bringing people together.

Do you have extra seedlings, houseplants, herbs, flowers, vegetables, or fruit plants looking for a new home? Bring them to our Plant Exchange and discover something new for your garden!

🌿 Leave it in our exchange area
🌿 Take a different plant home

Whether you're a seasoned gardener, a first-time plant parent, or just love watching things grow, everyone is welcome to participate. Flowers, vegetables, herbs, fruit plants, houseplants, and more are all welcome!

Let's grow a stronger community—one plant at a time. 🌻🍅🌿

Please label plants when possible and only bring healthy, pest-free plants.
