Earn a USU Certificate While Building Essential Workplace Skills!

The Center for Rural Economic Development & Emerging Technologies (CREDET) at Utah State University has launched Durable Skills for Workplace Excellence, a research-based online course designed to help teenagers and young adults develop the skills employers value.

Developed in response to research with Utah employers identifying gaps in workplace skills, the course focuses on five key areas:

- Professionalism
- Communication
- Emotional Intelligence
- Teamwork
- Productivity

The self-paced course takes about two hours to complete, costs $25, and includes a certificate of completion.

Interested in offering this course through your company?

We can work with businesses, schools, and community organizations to offer a facilitated version, either in person or virtually, with activities and discussions tailored to participants.
