Today, we want to recognize an extraordinary young man whose journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and perseverance.

Life has presented him with challenges and obstacles that could have easily discouraged him, yet he has continued to move forward with courage and purpose. Time and time again, he has chosen to rise above adversity, work hard, and pursue his dreams with unwavering commitment.

His story is not defined by the hardships he has faced, but by the strength, character, and grit he has shown in overcoming them. Through every setback, he has found a way to keep going, providing that success is not about having an easy path- it’s about refusing to give up!

We have had the privilege to know this young man for over 18 years now, and watch him grow. We are incredibly proud of the young man he has become and excited to see all that he will accomplish in the future. His determination serves as an inspiration to everyone around him, reminding us that resilience, hard work, and HOPE can carry us through even the toughest circumstances.

Keep chasing those dreams Olaf Sánchez we are cheering you on every step of the way!

Ms. Savannah sending this shout out:

☀️ JAHKEE! ☀️
I wanted to close out the month by celebrating all the amazing work Jahkee has done and highlight three totally different sessions that each challenged him in their own way!

☀️Session One:
We took advantage of the nice weather and set up outside. While Jahkee painted (because sometimes having a brush in your hand makes the work feel easier), we built his resume together and searched for jobs he might want to apply to. 🎨☀️
☀️Session Two:
Time to put that resume to work! Jahkee visited five potential job sites. He practiced beforehand and did a great job at asking for hiring managers at every location and leaving resumes with confidence. Huge growth moment. 💼👏
☀️Session Three:
We switched things up! Even though he was a little unsure at first, Jahkee groomed and rode a horse… and then ended playing basketball while riding (he would be happy for everyone to know he made every shot). 🐴🏀
We wrapped up by talking about healthy risk-taking and why trying new things matters, even when it feels uncomfortable.

I’m so proud of his effort and the way he shows up every time. Keep shining, Jahkee! ☀️

Learning to make pasta from scratch!

What we are also doing: working on following directions, practicing patience and persistence, learning delayed gratification, focusing on details, building confidence, developing a new skill, feeding our interests (pun intended!), and having fun!
