Castle Point Fire Department The Castle Point Fire Department is located in Fishkill, Dutchess County NY. We are Department 91 under the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response.

The Castle Point Fire Department is a fully staffed career federal fire department. We operate out of a single station and run 2 Engines, a Hazmat/Decon unit, and a ALS ambulance. We work a 48/72 schedule with a minimum of 5 firefighters and 1 paramedic per shift, plus a daytime chief. Each firefighter is certified to FF1+2, EMT-B, Confined Space Rescue Technician, Hazardous Materials Technician a

t a minimum. Many are also active volunteer firefighters in their home communities. Staffing includes 10 Firefighters, 4 Paramedics, 3 Crew Chiefs, and 1 Chief

Today CPFD firefighters responded along with Chelsea FD and Glenham FD for a reported tanker truck fire on I-84. 91-11 responded with a crew of 3 and arrived first to a fully involved tractor cab. 2 handlines were stretched, 1 for suppression efforts and the other to protect the tank trailer. the fire was quickly knocked down, and efforts were then shifted to containing the oil/diesel runoff. great job to all involved. CPFD crew: AC Mallen, FF Greenberg, MPO Cruz.
