We Are Excited to Adopt a Baby to Join Our Brooklyn Family!

Hello from New York City! Thank you for taking the time to reflect on adoption as one of the paths you might explore. We understand that this may be a deeply personal and complex consideration, filled with many emotions and considerations. Whatever choice you make, we genuinely hope it brings you peace and feels right for you and your baby.

We are honored to share a little about ourselves, our family, and the love that fills our lives. We are Jack and Erin, and together with Erin’s daughter, Willa, and our sweet dog, Dolly, we are hoping to grow our family through adoption. We live in North Brooklyn, surrounded by a warm and supportive community. Family and community mean everything to us. We believe in cherishing the simple moments, finding joy in everyday life, and always being there for one another.

Here is a little about our family:

➡️ We (Erin and Jack) met in early 2022 at a H***y Tonk in the Theatre District of New York City. We are life partners and best friends.

➡️ Willa cannot wait to be a big sister to the baby we hope to adopt in the near future. She is an active Girl Scout with the Girl Scouts of Greater New York City, through which she practices many skills and crafts she will someday share with her younger sibling.

➡️ Together as a family, we share love for going to concerts, spending time in nature, and spending time with our family and friends. We also enjoy New York activities such as the New York Hall of Science in Flushing, Queens; Luna Park at Coney Island; and swimming with friends at Rockaway Beach or Breezy Point.

We are Christopher and Jared, a fun-loving couple looking to grow our family through adoption. We would be honored to even be considered as a potential home for your child, and sincerely hope for the best for you and your baby. Whatever you decide, please take all the time you need and do what feels right for you.

We look forward to providing a warm, loving, and supportive home for a child, filled with laughter and discovery as they grow. We view parenthood as helping a child grow into the best, most fulfilled version of themselves, whatever that might look like to them.

Our story began in fall 2010 in New York City, when we connected via an online dating site. After a flurry of messages (which we still have saved, typos and all, thanks to Christopher), we agreed to meet and instantly hit it off. We bonded over our shared love of the performing arts, food, and 90s cartoons, and within a few dates, we both knew we wanted to be together for the long haul.

Within a year, we were living together, and on our 7th anniversary, Jared proposed to Christopher, who managed to stop crying long enough to say “yes.” In the spring of 2019, we got married on a boat in the Hudson River, surrounded by our friends, family, and the skyline of the city we both love.

While Christopher is from Colorado and Jared is from Georgia, we both consider NYC home, having lived in the same upper Manhattan neighborhood since 2011. We love spending our time walking in nearby parks, cooking meals at home, and taking advantage of all the food, culture, and live performance opportunities the city has to offer. Travel is also a big part of our lives, and we love experiencing new destinations both in the US and abroad.

From early on in our relationship, we’ve dreamed of becoming parents. Our love of children and desire to welcome one into our home has only grown over the years, and after a lot of hard work and preparation, we feel we are ready to start this next chapter of our story together. We cannot wait to become dads.

We are looking to adopt a baby!

Hello from New England! We are Kim and Allen from Ludlow, VT. We truly appreciate you taking the time to learn about us. We recognize the strength and love it takes to explore adoption as one of your options, and we hold immense respect and admiration for you.

Our Story:

We met in 2001 after both moving to Columbus, Ohio, from different areas. We started off as friends when Allen joined a band with some of Kim’s friends from high school. We were an unlikely match because Allen is quieter and takes his time letting people into his circle, and Kim is louder and thinks everyone is a best friend instantly. After about a year, we began dating and continued to grow together for the next ten years. After a decade of dating, we decided to celebrate with a small beach wedding that included our family in 2011.

Allen enjoys working with his hands and does carpentry, fixes and maintains our cars, and repairs anything he can as a DIYer. His career is in IT management in the ski industry where he gets to practice the problem-solving and analytical side, mixed with the hands-on role of building computer systems and hardware troubleshooting. He is also the cook in the family and a musician.

Kim loves her career as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, where she is working with kids in the school system by helping them find strategies to express themselves more clearly. She especially enjoys working with preschool and elementary students and finds their enthusiasm contagious. Kim has also always loved being around animals. Her past jobs include training guide dogs, managing an animal hospital, and volunteering with a therapeutic equine program.

We feel that over our 24 years together, we have found a rhythm and respect for each other’s emotions and an understanding of one another’s approach to life, being able to lean on each other for a healthy balance. We have had many adventures together, both up and down, and are ready to begin a new one by expanding our family and parenting together

We are looking to adopt a baby!

Hello! We are HB and Mel from Southern Vermont and are looking forward to growing our family through adoption.

We are excited to welcome a child into our lives who will be cared for and loved by not just us, but a big supportive network of family and friends. We would be overjoyed to welcome a baby into our home and community.

Here is our story:

We met in 2011 at our friend’s 2-year-old’s birthday party. HB had just moved to town and we hit it off easily over snacks and party games while our friends’ kids toddled around us. Little did we know that two years later we’d be dating, eventually building a life together and deciding to grow our family through adoption.

We have been lucky to build a strong friendship first and then start a wonderful marriage; we got married in 2019 among nearly 200 family and friends from near and far. We have supported each other through the joys and challenges of life over the years.

Family and community are really important to each of us individually and to our family together. We talk to our extended families often and enjoy frequent visits from our siblings and their families, our parents, and grandparents.

We find joy and comfort in the more routine traditions of our life together — like family weeknight dinners (cauliflower tacos have been popular lately!) — as well as excitement in the big moments — like receiving public recognition for our work or celebrating a friend’s milestone birthday.

Over the years, we’ve become a great team. We’re thoughtful communicators and listeners with each other, supportive of each other’s interests (Mel loves the wooden spoons that HB carves; HB goes to see Mel play bass in her band), and proud of each others’ work leading community organizations.

We are ready to welcome a baby into our warm, loving, fun family.

We are John and Cody, a couple from Coventry, Rhode Island, looking to adopt a child. We are excited to start this next chapter of our life by welcoming a little one to our family. Here are some facts about us:

➡️ We met online in 2019 and immediately had a connection. Early on in the relationship, we both knew we wanted a family.
➡️ We have built our dream home in Rhode Island in the same neighborhood John grew up in. John’s parents and siblings all live on the same street today.
➡️ Cody knows how to ride horses from growing up with them at his aunts’ home. He has not yet convinced John to get on a horse but he refuses to give up trying.
➡️ John went to Disney World annually as a kid and he and his sister have continued the tradition into adulthood, making sure not to miss a trip yet. Cody has since fallen in love with Disney and we hope to be able to share in the magic with a little one.
➡️ We have considered many options to starting a family but eventually decided that adopting a baby was the best option for us. We would love the opportunity to share our lives with a new baby.

We work well together as a team, approaching every decision in a cooperative manner. We are thrilled to be going through this adoption journey as a couple, and look forward to entering into parenthood together. We have been together for over eight years, and we’re thrilled to be on this journey of growing our family with the strong support of our family and friends. Here is some information about us:

➡️ Our relationship has taken us from coast to coast! We met when we both lived in Boston (Alex had lived there for a while, and Thomas was in graduate school.) We moved to Los Angeles for Alex’s graduate school, and Thomas followed. Then Thomas got a job in Washington, DC, and Alex gladly joined for the journey! Now we’ve made DC our home.
➡️ We are both adventurers — whether it’s dinner out at a new restaurant, a day trip to Richmond, Virginia, or a week in a tropical destination, we love to try new things, experience new places, and learn about the world around us.
➡️ Thomas loves music! He grew up with a musical family and sang in choruses and acapella groups through college. Now he loves to play vinyl on our record player setup and see local concerts.
➡️ Alex loves everything to do with food — cooking, eating, and growing it in his garden. Early in his career, he worked on a family vegetable farm, and he brought those skills with him into the city.
➡️ We are grateful to be surrounded by a loving community of friends who support our plans for adoption, many of whom are raising kids through adoption, too!
➡️ We both LOVE kids, and we are so excited to adopt a baby together. Alex used to work as a school garden educator for K-8 students in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Thomas has three incredible nieces and nephews in Albany, New York, that we get to see regularly throughout the year.

We are looking to adopt a baby!

Hello! We are Alex and Brandon from Levittown, Pennsylvania, and we are honored that you are taking the time to learn more about us. We know that this may not be an easy decision, so we admire your bravery and courage as you consider an adoption plan for you and your child.

Here is our story:

Our life together started during the COVID-19 pandemic. While everyone was recommended to socially distance, we found each other on an online dating app and planned fun outdoor adventures. On our first official date at Peddlers Village, New Hope, Pennsylvania, Brandon was excited to share his new adventures of buying a house. Turns out, Alex lived in the same neighborhood with his family only twelve houses away. They say that the LGBTQ+ community moves fast, well Alex moved in with Brandon after four months of dating and we have been together ever since!

We complement each other very well. Alex comes up with ways to design and decorate the house while Brandon makes those dreams come to life with many renovation projects to make our house, our home.

In November, 2024, Alex was surprised to find Brandon kneeling on one knee asking to marry him while hiking at the Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alex said YES and Brandon didn’t drop the ring down the cliffs!

We love to travel and make memories together with family and friends. Our favorite way to vacation is by cruise ship, although we also enjoy the simplicity of camping or spending the day at the beach. We look forward to sharing adventures with the child we adopt one day!

When we are not traveling, we enjoy spending time at home with our dogs Bentley and Sierra, going for walks around the neighborhood, and having regular game nights with our family and friends. These nights tend to be very competitive!

We are surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends who are ecstatic about this journey to welcome a baby through adoption, and we are committed to offering a safe, loving, and supportive home for the child we hope to adopt.

Hello from Brooklyn, New York! We’re Amy and Prashant, and we are so excited to have this chance to build our family through adoption!

We understand that this is a deeply personal, challenging, and difficult decision for you. We respect and admire your strength. We are profoundly grateful that you are exploring adoption as one of your options and taking the time to consider us as potential adoptive parents at this moment.

Here is our story:

We met in 2019 through an online dating service and almost immediately clicked — we found ourselves spending more and more time together, and it was easy from the start! At the time, we both lived just a few miles apart in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and quickly discovered that we shared many common interests. We were engaged in 2022 and were married in August of that year.

We love spending time together and share a passion for hiking and traveling. We also enjoy taking cooking classes and making the most of all the cultural experiences that New York City has to offer, including music, theater, and museums.

Prashant is passionate about sports and especially enjoys playing tennis in leagues and tournaments. Amy loves experimenting with new baking recipes for cakes, cookies, and other desserts—she finds joy in sharing them with friends and family.

Our family and friends are the backbone of our lives. Amy’s parents live nearby in Staten Island, and we have cousins and close friends throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Connecticut, and New Jersey who enrich our lives with their love and support. Living close to Prospect Park means we often take Kulfi for walks there or meet friends for picnics and activities.

We’ve been living together in Park Slope for four years now, and when we decided to buy our current home, we intentionally chose a place that would be ideal for raising a family. Park Slope is a welcoming, multicultural, and diverse neighborhood — exactly the kind of environment where we hope to raise a child. Hello! We are Carly and TJ, from a small town near Lake George, NY. Our greatest hope is to build a family through adoption. As you look into adoption as one of the options for you and your child, we cannot express how thankful we are for your consideration of us as prospective adoptive parents.

Here are some facts about us:

➡️ Since the beginning of our relationship, we’ve cherished weekend getaways to places like Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maine. Carly grew up in these areas, and together, we’ve discovered favorite diners, hiking trails, swimming spots, and cozy BnBs that we love returning too.
➡️ TJ has been passionate about cars for as long as he can remember. He has a unique superpower: he can identify a car’s make and model just by listening to it! His favorite is Porsche, and he’s been restoring a 1986 model since he was 16.
➡️ Carly grew up surrounded by all kinds of music — rock, RnB, musical theater, pop, and jazz. She’s brought this love of music into her and TJ’s life by establishing a fun tradition of dancing and singing during dinner. She also loves going to concerts, especially in smaller, more intimate venues.
➡️ Have we mentioned how much we love living close to Lake George, NY? Being on the lake in some capacity is such a huge part of our lives. Our dream and goal is to buy a boat and take our future family boating all along the lake to the best climbing, swimming, and jumping spots, much like Carly did growing up.
➡️ We’ve talked about adoption since we first met as teenagers. It’s always felt like it could, or should, be a part of our lives. Early on, we decided to wait until our 30s to have children, giving ourselves time to grow and develop as individuals. The same thoughtfulness applied to adoption—we waited until we found an agency that aligned with our morals and values of respect before taking the leap.

➡️ We enjoy being home, spending our time reading, watching movies, and sometimes doing jigsaw puzzles. We also enjoy crafting – Harrison has developed a knack for wood burning while Mary Margaret has taken up sewing and has made baby quilts for family and friends.
➡️ Any child we bring home will be welcomed by three cousins, two aunts, three uncles, four grandparents, three great-grandmothers, extended family, and a close-knit group of friends, many of whom live nearby!
➡️ One wall of our living room has floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. We have a rule about only buying books second-hand or from small, local bookstores. Despite this rule, we often give books away as gifts and donate them to little free libraries in upstate NY to have enough room!

We have a wonderful family and home waiting for a child. We are proud of the life that we have built for ourselves and can’t wait to start our adventure as parents. Although we don’t know our little one yet, we are ready to welcome a child and we know they will bring even more happiness to our lives.

➡️ We live in an old farmhouse, nestled on 21 acres of rolling green hills in Glenville, located in upstate New York. We have a long driveway with a paved loop surrounded by shade trees, making the front yard a perfect place for summertime play like biking, sidewalk chalk, rollerblading, and more!

➡️ We (Kaylee and Daniel) met in Potsdam, NY, in 2010 when we were both attending Clarkson University to obtain our bachelor’s degrees in engineering. After college, we moved to Danbury, Connecticut, before moving back to Clifton Park, New York, to be closer to Daniel’s family.

➡️ We live halfway between Kaylee’s sisters and their families just outside Burlington, Vermont, and her parents from central New York. This makes our home the perfect spot for our families to gather for celebrations and visits.

➡️ Quentin is very eager to become a big brother and adopt a sibling. He frequently talks about all the things he plans to teach his little sibling and the games he will play with them. He already has stuffed animals picked out to share.

➡️ We’re passionate about spending time in nature, whether it’s camping in our favorite spot or traveling to new destinations. We dream of expanding our family through adoption and sharing our love of the outdoors with another child.

Hello, hello! We’re Jenni and Ned from New York and we’re so appreciative of your time and consideration. If adoption is the path you choose, we are ready to support you however we can.

We have built a life and partnership full of love, fun, and happiness, and we would love to welcome a child into our family. We’re very excited to tell you about ourselves and introduce you a little bit to our life, home, and community. Hopefully, this will give you the start of an understanding of our lives.

Here are some facts about us:

➡️ We live in New York City, in the Bronx neighborhood of Riverdale, a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood with a great school system and large, sprawling parks nearby.
➡️ We eloped in 2021 in Brooklyn and then threw a variety of parties for friends and family we affectionately called our Wedding Tour. We had parties in Brooklyn, Bridgeport, Portland, and still plan to have celebrations in Chicago and Los Angeles.
➡️ Jenni works in tech for streaming entertainment (she was on the launch team for Disney+), and Ned works as an actor / singer / producer / writer in the entertainment industry (he stars in a Dungeons & Dragons TV show)
➡️ We are big sports fans, loving all Boston sports teams but especially the Red Sox (MLB), New England Patriots (NFL), and then for New York, only Gotham FC (NWSL). We can often be found watching our favorite teams at home or at the stadium with our friends.
➡️ We have a large and diverse community of friends and family all over the country and world, and we travel to visit as many of them as we can, as often as we can.
➡️ We really enjoy spending our time together and with friends playing games. We enjoy hosting dinner and a game night with friends or settling in on the couch to play a video game together. We recently finished Pokémon Snap and are currently playing Blue Prince and Stardew Valley.
