Next Craft for Kids Day is Saturday August 22, 2026, we will be building Christmas ornaments and painting and decorating. We will be using hammers and nails and paint
All supplies are provided and this is a free event. We will be in the schoolhouse on the grounds of the Old Russell County Courthouse from 10am to 12 pm Please register for this class so we know about supplies to get, just drop a private message to this page. We have limited amount of kits

This weeks craft for kids, Saturday August 15th 2026 from 10 am to 12, Kids can learn to make a yarn basket . All supplies provided and free to kids. At the Old Russell County Courthouse grounds, in the school/church house .

We would like to Thank Everyone who purchased a water barrel, we are now sold out. all proceeds go to the historical society for the upkeep of the Old Russell County Courthouse and the grounds and the new programs we starting. We would like to Thank Mr. Aaron Ownes for all his hard work on this fund raiser, Thank You to Clinch Valley Soil and Water Conservation District and Russell County Extension Office.
