Technology is a love/hate relationship right? Personally when it comes to somethings, I'd rather pay them to NOT change or update things! It's a domino effect, update one thing locks you out of another thing. Where the creators of these things don't realize about small or large business productivity and how that will impact you. Or they are and it's urgent to fix. So, this is a long story to inform you that we are all forced to change our emails. The not so fun part of life. If you haven't got a notice yet you will soon. So if you are a Super Genius Websites client, this will effect you. You will eventually be migrated to the new system. I apologize for the inconvenience and am working on how to do it with my personal 7 emails and all my clients and their emails. Yikes! Anyway, like I always tell my mom when she's mad about technology; I didn't invent the internet! LOL If you need help call my personal phone and I will guide you. We also have the same technical support 24/7 you can call and talk to a real person and migration specialist to help you through it! So take a deep breath pick a day you want to tackle this and lets move into the future together. Then when it's all done, reward yourself with a expensive drink like a Pina Colada or something fancy you earned it. Like they say, change with time or become extinct. Working in the independent production field, I work with a lot of business professional and non actors, which means I quickly need to assist them to work with the camera and help them through the learning curve. Helping to make them feel comfortable in front of a camera, so they can deliver their true self. That is my daily life. I remember when I worked with Juliette Goodrich KPIX for the first time, I believe in the late 90's, and how much of a pro she was to do a video at a Gala. It was like; bada bing bada boom! I hope to work with her again someday.

I had the honor of working with Juliette Goodrich KPIX many moons ago. We were both volunteers for the Davis Street Community Center Gala to help get back on their feet and into careers. I remember her to be a super pro to work with in front of the camera. And super down to earth as she still is today. My friends received this certificate in my honor at the International Moose Convention in Florida this last week. 2nd place of the 'Moose Journalism Awards' for 'General Excellence - Lodge / Chapter Websites' and 'Sponsors of Distinction' recognition. To give you perspective, there are at least 1,600 Lodges / Chapters in 49 states, four Canadian provinces, and the United Kingdom. So 2nd out of 1,600 is not bad. One of my goals has always been to use my media skills for a good cause and create change. It's nice to be recognized. For what you see here, there are 1,000's of volunteers that do great work that don't get recognized. They do the hard work. Thank you Moose Lodge 1491 for submitting my name. And thank you to WOTM who work the hardest of them all. XOXO

I was finally able to personally hand over Sarah Smith Music her awards... long over due!

So my surprise Sarah Smith Music, if you caught my last post she made a sprite visit. while she was busy touring the world and being in the news in the newspapers and headlines, And talk shows and such about our project. I was collecting the awards back at home. I always dreamed of a day that I would send them to Canada to one of her very special fans and surprise her with them on stage or something. When the world turned upside down in many ways,  and now here we are right side up again. I was able to present them myself to her who she was quite surprised. Our journey as friends and creative professionals has always been a blessing of mutual respect and open creativity. Here we are holding one of the awards of the 11 we had achieved on that project.
