Medina Valley ISD covers about 300 square miles and is located west of San Antonio. The proud students of the Panther Nation come from Castroville, La Coste, Rio Medina, Dunlay, Mico, parts of San Antonio, and surrounding areas. The District has approximately 7,000 students with 8 campuses: 5 elementary, 2 middle, and 1 high school. Over the past several years, Medina Valley has seen consistent in

creasing growth in student enrollment with an increase of 7% – 10% new students every year. The District consistently outscores all State averages in accountability ratings and testing, producing well-rounded career-minded students.

Top 5 MVHS graduate and valedictorian, Jada Bohmfalk is ready to turn her passion for helping others into a future career in healthcare! 🩺 🎓

From serving as Mu Alpha Theta President to student council, Jada is graduating first in her class. She also participated in a variety of extracurricular activities during her four years such as cheerleading, Pawsome Petals Floral Design, Peers for Positive Change, NHS and FFA.

This year with FFA Jada won first place at State in Food Science qualifying her for Nationals. After graduation, Jada plans to attend Texas A&M University to get her Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition before pursuing her dream of becoming a Physician’s Assistant.

When asked about being named valedictorian, Jada shared that the honor came through perseverance.

"There were many late nights, tears, and times I didn't think I could do it. I truly believe hard work pays off and I'm so happy that my dedication over the past four years has brought me to this point."
