The Scholastic Book Fair gets kids excited about reading and earns funds for our library. The Book Fair begins on September 9 and all classes will have a scheduled time to shop. See the flyer that was sent home for your child’s shopping day and time. It’s gonna be the Best. Fair. Ever!

We’re excited to welcome our grandparents and special guests to campus for Lunch with Someone Grand on Friday, September 11. Students can enjoy lunch with their loved ones during their scheduled lunchtime and also have the opportunity to shop at the book fair before their lunch is over. We can’t wait to celebrate the special people who make our students’ lives so grand! 🐾🧡🎉

Today students in Mrs. Mendoza’s RLA class played a fun game of Battleship teaching Author’s Purpose! The students had the best time and worked well in their groups. Mrs. Mendoza also has a high school student that is assigned to her class as part of her coursework and she jumped right in to help lead the game! Everyone had a great time learning and having fun! ⭐️🐾🧡

Congratulations to our students and staff on the incredible work and dedication that went into making Castroville Elementary an A-rated campus! Also, Castroville earned 5 out of 6 distinctions!

A huge shout-out to our students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade and their teachers for helping our students perform at such a high level!

Thank you to every grade level and every staff member for building our students up and laying the foundation for their success. This achievement is a true reflection of the collective effort of our entire Castroville Elementary family. 🐾⭐️🧡🎉

🏈🥜 Peanut Butter Bowl! 🥜🏈

Our amazing high school varsity football team is kicking off the Peanut Butter Bowl again this year, and we want our elementary Cubs to help make this the biggest year yet!

Students can participate by:
🥜 Bringing one jar of peanut butter to school
OR
🧡 Donating $2 using the provided donation link.

Every jar and every dollar helps support families in need. Let’s show our Panther Cub pride by giving back and making a difference together!

🏈 Friday Night Lights are Back! 🐾

The Panthers open the season against Churchill on Friday, August 28, with kickoff set for 7:30 PM at Comalander Stadium.

We are excited to participate in the Peanut Butter Bowl for the 4th year in a row!

As we come together to support our team, let's also support our community. Join us in the fight against hunger by bringing a jar of peanut butter to the game or by making a donation at any Medina Valley HS feeder elementary school collection site.

Let's pack the stands, support a great cause, and cheer on the Panthers!

Today, our amazing counselors held a Tears and Cheers Breakfast for parents of ECSE, PreK, and Kinder students after morning drop off!

Everyone had a great time meeting other parents of our littlest cubs, talking, and making a fun little craft to share with their child after the school day!

A special thanks to Mrs. Kircher and Mrs. Benavides for this memorable event. 🥯🧡🐾⭐️
