🚒 FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAINING TOMORROW MORNING, September 19th 🚒

Catawba County Fire Departments will conduct a Tanker Task Force training exercise tomorrow morning. This exercise will allow firefighters to practice transporting and supplying water to areas where fire hydrants are not available. The exercise will take place from 7:30am-1:00pm

📍 Training Route & Locations

Fill Site: Waterside Bar and Grill
7774 Hudson Chapel Rd

Travel Route: Fire apparatus will travel along Kale Rd to Long Island Rd.

Dump Site: Long Island Marina
8400 Long Island Rd

⚠️ Please use caution when traveling in the area. Motorists may notice an increased presence of fire trucks and first responders along the training route.

The increased fire department activity is part of a planned training exercise designed to help our firefighters prepare to safely and effectively provide water during emergencies in areas without fire hydrants.

We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while our firefighters conduct this important training.

Please slow down, stay alert, and give fire apparatus and first responders plenty of room to work safely.
