When someone survives an opioid overdose, it’s because someone
else stepped in to help. Our lives are deeply connected, and looking
out for each other gives us the power to keep one another safe.
Overdose is preventable when we act together. That’s as true and as
needed today—on the 25th International Overdose Awareness Day—
as it always has been.
