We are doing a Culver's Share Night on May 27, 2026 at the Culver's in Tilton. We would love to see you there to support our firefighters!

You must present this flyer on paper or electronically that evening in order for a portion of the sales to be donated!

5/15/26, At approx 22:30, CFPD was dispatched with Fairmount Fire and Oakwood Ambulance for a structure on fire. 6E2 responded with 2 volunteers and remained on scene for approximately 2.5 hours before returning to service.

Yesterday, 4/25/26, at approximately 1354, CFPD was dispatched as automatic aid to respond with Westville Fire, to the area of Lyons Rd and Georgetown Rd, for a structure on fire. 6E2 and 6T1 responded with a total of 3 volunteers. 6E2 arrived on scene within 8 minutes to find heavy fire blowing out of the Alpha Side, and immediately started fire suppression. CFPD remained on scene till approximately 16:50. Great job to all departments on scene who assisted on this great stop! Westville Area Fire Protection District Georgetown Fire Department Georgetown Ambulance Tilton Fire Department Lynch Area Fire Protection District Ridge Farm Fire and Rescue Carle Arrow Ambulance, Ameren, Westville Police Department, Westville Illinois Vermilion County Sheriffs Office, Vermilion County Animal Shelter.

Also, a huge thank you to Fairmount Fire Department for covering our district while we were tied up on scene!

Last night at our weekly training, CFPD flushed our dry hydrants. We flush these and test them twice a year to make sure we can always depend on a water supply in our rural areas!
