Happy first week of school!

It was so nice to see so many families at last week's Sneak A Peek! Throughout the week we will be posting updates and announcements, including information about this week's family picnic and membership information. Please check in with us often and don't hesitate to reach out with questions!

Yesterday we treated our amazing teachers and staff to a Tater Tot Bar, complete with all the toppings to build the ultimate tot bowl.

A huge thank you to Doozy's Diner for generously providing the delicious spread and helping us make our teachers feel extra appreciated!

It was the perfect way to kick off the school year!

We are excited to announce our first Restaurant Fundraiser for the 2026-27 school year! Stop by Peace A Pizza before or after Sneak-A-Peek and mention CES at checkout. We CAN'T WAIT for families to finally see our collaborative mural IN PERSON this Thursday! Photos don’t do it justice...you really need to see this mural in person to experience its full impact.

Due to tomorrow's weather forecast, we have decided to cancel the Kindergarten Meet-Up. We encourage you to attend our Family Picnic at the Tire Park on September 4th, and hope to see you at Sneak A Peek on Thursday!

$5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Catonsville Elementary School PTA.

We did this last year, teachers loved it, and Catonsville showed up in a big way. For all Catonsville teachers or teachers who LIVE in Catonsville or EPIK VIP TEACHERS.

So naturally, we’re doing it again this year, but we’ve given it a serious glow-up.

First, post your wish list in the comments along with the name of your school.

That is the fastest way for our Catonsville community to see your list and start helping right away.

Then, add it to our Teacher Wish List Directory.

This year, we’re also creating one big, organized directory of local teacher wish lists, grouped by school.

That way, once families know who their teachers are, they can go directly to their school, find the teacher they’re looking for, and purchase something from their list without having to track down this original post.

🎉 AND WE’VE ADDED A DRAWING

Five local teachers who complete the Google Form by Sunday, August 30th be in the drawing to receive up to $100 in classroom supplies, purchased directly from their Amazon Wish List by EPIK Home Group and EPIK Kids in Action. We will post live on the first day of school in Catonsville, August 31st on Facebook.

That’s $500 going straight into five local classrooms.

At EPIK Home Group, we sell houses throughout this community, but we also believe in taking care of the community those houses are part of. Many of our EPIK clients have children in local schools, and supporting their teachers is one of the ways we can give back.

We’ll also be at the Catonsville Sunday Farmers Market on August 23, collecting school supplies.
