Our Mission

AGING: To ensure a network of supportive services to assist Greene County’s senior citizens (those age 60 and older) to maintain their dignity and independence within their communities. YOUTH: To help coordinate youth services for children and young people in Greene County, birth to 21 by providing technical assistance to municipalities, private agencies and groups in program development, evaluation, financial planning, program management and training.

Cakes were enjoyed at all nutrition sites with special visits from local and county government members and our “Ice Cream Day” raised a total of $438.50 for the Greene County Senior Angels Fund managed by our partner agency The Healthcare Consortium! Today is NATIONAL SENIOR CITIZENS DAY! Established in 1988 to honor and recognize senior citizens and their contributions as well as raise awareness of issues effecting their well-being.

All of our 5 nutrition sites will be serving special cake today and our main office here at 411 Main Street Catskill will be holding an "Ice Cream" Day from 11am-3pm with all proceeds being donated to the Senior Angels Fund.

These are a wonderful support for adaptive needs. Thank you Greene County Public Health Department
