helping those in need.

The Illinois Valley Family Coalition is a one-stop community integration and career
and training center in Cave Junction, Oregon. We've received statewide praise for our innovative and effective delivery of
integrated services. The Coalition partners with more than 25 agencies and
provides on-site services with many of those agencies. The Coalition houses an extensive high speed computer lab fo

r community use. The computer resources are invaluable to the residents for skills development,
job searches and homework preparation. The computers are available to the public from
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM business days. Current Initiatives Some of the services now

🥕 COULD YOU QUALIFY FOR MONTHLY GROCERY SUPPORT? 🥫

Illinois Valley Family Coalition is now scheduling appointments to help community members apply for AllCare Health’s new nutrition benefits!

Qualifying OHP members may be approved for:

🥫 $244 per month for the Pantry Stocking Benefit
🍎 $92 per month for the Fruit & Vegetable Benefit

Benefits may be available for up to six months, and each qualifying household member may apply.

The cards can help purchase approved foods such as fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products, grains, pantry staples, spices, and fresh herbs. The Pantry Stocking Benefit may also cover seeds and plants that produce food for the household.

Even if you have received HRSN services before, you may still qualify for these new benefits!

Eligibility, benefit type, and approval are determined by AllCare Health. Additional requirements apply.

⚠️ Important local shopping information: Dollar General is currently the only participating store we have confirmed in Cave Junction. Several stores in Grants Pass accept the cards. If you regularly travel to Grants Pass, or need help getting there, please ask IVFC about possible bus-token assistance.

¡Illinois Valley Family Coalition está programando citas para ayudar a miembros de la comunidad a solicitar los nuevos beneficios de nutrición de AllCare Health!

Los miembros de OHP que cumplan con los requisitos podrían recibir:

Starting August 25th, we're updating our Food Pantry hours:

🗓️ Tuesdays & Wednesdays: To-Go Bags Only (all day)

🗓️ Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays:

9:00–12:00 PM — To-Go Bags
12:00–4:30 PM — Shopping Style
4:30–5:00 PM — To-Go Bags

If you have clean, reusable shopping bags in good condition, Illinois Valley Family Coalition would love to put them to use in our Food Pantry! We're always in need of sturdy bags to help distribute food to families in our community.

Please note: Bags must be clean and free of holes or tears.

Our community showed up for us!

A huge thank you to Silvia Ceron from Oregon Department of Human Services- Office of Resilience and Emergency Management for reaching out to several organizations on our behalf and connecting us with United Community Action Network, which generously donated 30 cases of bottled water!

We are also very grateful to the Illinois Valley Safe House Alliance for donating 10 cases, as well as the community members who brought water to us. Every donation helps us keep free water available in our lobby and food pantry while allowing our budget to support other community needs.

Pictured are Cleighton from UCAN and Aaron, IVFC’s Executive Director, finishing up the unloading on Friday.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. This is such a wonderful example of organizations and community members working together to care for the Illinois Valley! 💙

We could use our community’s help keeping IVFC stocked with water!

We have a cooler in our lobby where each person who visits can take two free bottles of water. We also try to keep bottled water available in our food pantry, but lately we have been purchasing it out of our program budget to keep up with the need.

If you are able to donate a case of unopened bottled water, we would greatly appreciate it! Donations can be dropped off at:
