🚔 Cazenovia Police Department Honored by Cazenovia Lions Club 🚔
The Cazenovia Police Department is proud to share that our agency was formally recognized by the Cazenovia Lions Club during this year’s Christmas Walk ceremony. The award highlights our department’s dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving the Cazenovia community with integrity.
Chief Michael Hayes accepted the recognition on behalf of the entire department. With more than 30 years of service to this community, Chief Hayes’ leadership has guided our team through meaningful accomplishments... from becoming the first agency in New York State to complete National Grid Safety Training for First Responders, to working closely with local partners to strengthen safety on Cazenovia Lake.
This recognition reflects the hard work of every member of our department. Our officers show up every day with pride, compassion, and a sincere commitment to keeping this community safe. We are grateful for their service and for the continued support of the residents and organizations who make Cazenovia such a strong and connected place to live.
Statement from Chief Hayes;
"Words cannot express the gratitude to the Cazenovia Lions Club for the award the Village of Cazenovia Police Department received at this years Christmas Walk. The pride I was consumed with that night was awesome; pride in my officers as well as pride in the community that we serve and I reside in. Once again, thank you to the Cazenovia Lions Club for the award and the Cazenovia community for the support we have received over the years."
