The recent ultimate field day involved students from across the District. Hosted and funded by Manuele Law, the top two boys and top two girls from third, fourth, and fifth grades at each school competed in the 100-meter dash, 400-meter run, and softball throw. Students who did not qualify, packed the stands to cheer on their classmates. Iron Springs claimed the overall championship and will receive a $500 donation. Three Peaks placed second for $400, while North finished third and will receive $300. Read more in Iron County Today.

Parowan Elementary kindergartners (and all the others at our other schools) are officially done with their first year of school. Surrounded by family, the youngest grade entertained with patriotic songs, complete with their patriotic top hats and star glasses. Principal Trevor Heaton then handed each a certificate and they took home a sack of goodies from their teacher. Congratulations Class of 2038!
