Did You Know?

A resource fair is a community event where local organizations come together in one place to share information, answer questions, and help connect people with services.

Instead of trying to figure out where to start or who to call, attendees can meet directly with organizations that may be able to help with things like housing, food, employment, health care, family support, and other community needs.

Our upcoming Resource Fair is happening Thursday, June 5th, and it is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the resources available in our community.

Date: Friday, June 5th
Time: 1 PM - 4 PM
Location: Main Street Park

Knowledge is powerful and knowing where to turn for help can make all the difference.

Does anyone remember this post from May 2020?

“We are not all in the same boat, but we are all in the same storm.”

That message still feels just as important today. Everyone in our community faces different challenges, and not everyone has the same resources, support systems, or safety nets. But we all have the opportunity to show kindness, offer support, and care for one another.

A little compassion can go a long way.

Support each other. Don’t judge. Be kind.
