READY TO VOLUNTEER? Triumphant Living is seeking volunteers to serve on its board of directors!
Triumphant is a nonprofit that provides assistance in handling finances or making medical decisions for our customers. Our customers have dementia, cognitive decline, an intellectual disability, or are otherwise unable to make decisions on their own. Triumphant is either 1) retained by the customer to provide these services prior to the time of the disability OR 2) appointed by the court system to serve in this role for the customer during the time of the disability (if there is not a loved one able to serve in this role for any reason including interpersonal drama among loved ones).
Since Triumphant Living was founded eight years, we have been operating at nearly maximum capacity. With the addition of our two new executive directors, Triumphant is now ready to focus on expanding our services and outreach so we can serve this ever-growing need in our community. And that means we are ready to expand our team of volunteer board members!
Volunteer board members will need to attend quarterly 90-minute meetings either in-person or via Zoom. At those meetings, board members will have the opportunity to serve in additional capacities such as fundraising efforts, grant writing, policy establishment, community outreach (including social media, marketing, and speaking engagements), or even serving first hand alongside our executive directors to work with our customers. These board members will be steering the leadership and grow of this nonprofit.
