Our great friend and team mate, Zach Everman of Pixel Labs, said it best. Here's his quote:
"Working on this campaign has completely reversed my feelings of politics. Before I was bitter towards the entire process, tired of being bombarded by people attacking the opposition instead of talking about their own highlights.

The way this campaign was ran was nothing but enjoyable and something that everyone involved with can be proud to say they are a part of.

I believe the minute you start trash talking your opponent is the minute you have run out of good things to say about yourself. We didn't have enough time to get to all of the good things we can say about Rick. I hope District 59 was listening to what we did get to say and gives Rick the chance to show them the rest!"

Rick won't be in Des Moines, but he'll continue his dedication to service right here in Cedar Falls!

Rick has sincerely enjoyed getting to know all of you. As we all move forward, we'll get more accomplished here at home because we are better together!

We may have lost the election - but we won in supporting our community and local small businesses. Over 90% of the funds we raised went right back into Cedar Falls.
As the election season ends, and the holiday season is upon us, we ask you all to Shop Local whenever you can. We know we are Better Together!
